With success being my Ultimate Goal, I have to first define what success means in my mind. So to be a success, this person must become a person who is continuing to grow emotionally, spiritually, in their relationships with family, friends and strangers. Be a contributor to everybody and everything that enters their realm. Totally successful financially by gaining ultimate financial freedom. Totally successful in business and career. Living a lifestyle admired by many. Success is somebody who is also totally in tune with their personal fitness, health and well-being. Someone who has profound knowledge, continuously learning and somebody who never settles for anything less than they deserve. Committing themselves 100% towards every outcome they desire. Constantly achieving and improving in EVERY area of their life. Taking all actions necessary to achieve all of the above and enjoying the process.

My page is a tool to help me achieve my Ultimate Goal. Every day I will answer the same 5 Questions. Every week I will write a journal entry summarising my life during the week. I will also periodically give you, the reader, an insight into certain areas of my life. So please, enjoy my posts, feel free to replicate the process. My journey starts now with these 5 Questions...

1. What did I learn today?

2. What improvements have I made?

3. What did I contribute today?

4. What did I enjoy?

5. What actions have I taken towards achieving my Ultimate Goal?

Who Am I?

A question philosophers have asked throughout time. Who am I? To answer that question for myself I have to first realise that what I have done in the past does not determine who I am. The past habits and behaviours that limited me in any way are not the main contributors to my future. What do I mean? Just because I procrastinated in the past does not mean that I'm a procrastinator. All It means is I occasionally indulged in that behaviour. The references of my past can mean nothing to my future or they could mean everything. For example I can find plenty of examples of when I procrastinated in the past, but does that mean I'm a procrastinator? Of course not. Whereas I can only find a handful of examples where I achieved big goals by taking massive action. Does that mean I can always take massive action to achieve my wildest dreams? The definite answer is yes. I can also find references that I haven't experienced. How So? I could imagine myself doing something I have never done, say making a million dollars. I don't know how to do that, but others do so I can reference them. Therefore anything I can imagine I can do. So my goal with this page is to answer a new question and gradually come up with answers over time. Let the list grow and watch how it evolves. The new question is... Who do I want to become? I know that if I write the list, act like the person on the list, then when I do become that person I'm already living like that person. So I'll let my imagination run wild and start this list with new distinctions, behaviors, habits, beliefs, questions, metaphors, goals, skills, emotions, finances, attitudes and focuses. Pretty much a new life. Minimum of 3 new characteristics a day.

The Person I want to become will...
1. Believe that all the abundance he receives is deserving
2. Never leave the site of a goal without taking action towards its attainment
3. Constantly Improve all areas of his life
4. Be confident in every situation presented
5. Be competent to face every challenge put forth
6. Be the best basketball player on the court at any given stage
7. Spend every minute of the day doing something he loves
8. Spend quality time with family MOST of the day
9. Never bite his nails
10. Never procrastinate
11. Always be happy
12. Always be achieving
13. Live an envious lifestyle
14. Take his friends along for the journey
15. Enjoy the journey
16. Have ultimate financial freedom.
17. Do what he wants, when he wants, with whoever he wants to do it with.
18. Have a 20 car garage... At the beach house
19. Ask himself empowering questions continuously
20. Look at the positive side of anything
21. Focus on solutions, not problems

UPDATE 23 June 2010
I made an extended distinction to this question today. If I ask the question "who do I want to become?" I can come up with a multitude of answers. But guess what happens when you answer in a very general manner? My thoughts about that is that a general answer will give you a whole group of attributes to go along with that generalisation. I'll tell you how. Lets just say my answer to that question was "to be a millionaire". I can filter my whole life through that statement. I can justify every action I take with that one sentence. If someone came up to me and asked why I did a particular action in the area of making money, I can easily reply "because I'm a millionaire, it's just what millionaires do". Now, because I'm no millionaire (yet) how does this help me? Well with the sense of certainty that I am a millionaire already, I can develop new rules, new beliefs, new habits and best of all new questions that will automatically come to me because that will be the frame of mind my whole life will be lived through. When I do something that isn't constructive, an automatic question will be asked... "Would a millionaire act this way?". I will continue the list on this page but for a start I will come up with generalisations which I can expand at a later date, so here goes...
